Connect a WordPress site

Enter your site URL and username:application_password to enable one-click apply.

Connecting WordPress lets you push approved fixes (like image alt text) straight to your Media Library and content, no snippet needed for those.

  1. 1First create an Application Password (see the guide for that).
  2. 2In your project, open Content Engine and find the CMS connection panel.
  3. 3Choose WordPress, enter your Site URL (e.g. https://example.com).
  4. 4In the Token field, paste your credential as username:application_password.
  5. 5Click Show to confirm the field actually holds your text (browser autofill sometimes clears password fields), then click Connect.

On save, the platform test-pings your credential. If it reports 401 or “can't edit”, the credential or role is wrong, fix it before relying on the connection.

If your host sits behind a CDN that strips the Authorization header (Hostinger, some LiteSpeed setups), the connect test will fail with 401 even with a correct password. See “Fix the WordPress REST API Authorization header”.
